About the Role

 

The Regional Revenue Manager will draw on their knowledge of travel distribution and pricing systems to maximise ADR, occupancy and EBITDA across a portfolio of Parks.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Support the relevant Regional Operations team to create and develop pricing strategies in conjunction with the individuality of each park and the local area marketing plans.
  • Maintain relevant pricing & park management systems to implement pricing strategy & revenue optimization.
  • Develop best practice standards for the relevant Regional Operations team, to conduct competitor analysis; environmental scanning; market modelling; distribution yield management; business mix yield management; length of stay yield management; inventory availability by channel; pricing control and new pricing concepts
  • Ensure the end to end systems (content, links and images) are maintained to ensure sales maximisation
  • Work with marketing to develop forward pricing and promotions strategy for inclusion in campaigns
  • Support the Regional Operations team to provide weekly dynamic forecast of expected results, variances and budget comparisons
  • Jointly manage relationships at a national level with OTAs with reference to the broader marketing strategies
  • Ensure all related systems are configured correctly, validated and working to full capacity.
  • Grow off peak demand through the use of new distribution channels
  • Prepare outline for and support the annual revenue budget process
  • Through the Regional Operations team, inspire a revenue management culture

 

 

Skills & Experience

 

The Regional Revenue Manager is a self-motivated individual that works as part of a high performing regional operations team

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on Revenue/Yield and Pricing Management experience with a multisite portfolio at a senior level or equivalent experience in Hotel Management
  • A strong command of both written and spoken English is required
  • Preferably Bachelors or Masters Degree in Hotel Management, Analytics, Economic or Finance Studies
  • Has high-level computer literacy with a mastery of Excel
  • Knowledgeable of hotel technology: PMS, Channel Manager, GDS, CRS, Extranets
  • Has a sound ability and knowledge to develop standards of operations and strategic processes
  • Demonstrates the ability to work under own initiative in a highly pressured environment
  • Identifies and priorities’ revenue generating actions and administrative tasks with low yield impact
  • Well-developed interpersonal, influencing and supervisory management skills
  • Has a client service mindset and takes responsibility beyond direct duties
